Important Notes: Homes built before
1978 may have lead-based paint, which
can cause harm to your family, especialy young children. Teachers and
some law enforcement officers may qualify for 50% discounts in certain communities.
HUD has a special sales program under which approved nonprofit
organizations and government agencies may purchase properties at
discounted prices for use in community based housing or homeless
programs.
